Requirements

Before you start

  • Existing Driving License: Must hold a valid Class B (or B-Automatic/B1) light vehicle license.
  • Driving Experience: Minimum of 4 years of active driving experience since your Class B endorsement.
  • Minimum Age: Must be at least 22 years of age to qualify for Class D1 and D2.
  • Criminal Record Check: A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
  • Medical Fitness: A certified medical examination report proving physical fitness and good vision.
  • Identification: Valid National ID card or passport.
